Investment attraction from OpenTrade Crowdfunding

In July 20 last year (year 2020), Sirius (now called Bulligo) participated in the funding of “OpenTrade”, the first and largest securities-type (equity-invested) crowdfunding platform in Korea!

 

Here, crowdfunding is a compound word of Crowd (public) + Funding, which means that individuals, organizations, and companies in need of funds raise funds from an unspecified number of investors through the web or mobile network. It can be considered a flower of fintech in that it is a new platform that enables direct financing through public offerings, which was impossible in the existing financial industry due to physical limitations and various regulations.

 

Sirius (now "Bulligo") opened as a security funding achieved the funding target in about 10 days from the beginning date and it successfully attracted 140 million investments.

 

Sirius (now "Bulligo") plans to use the fundraising to hire some new staffs and to focus on the data and security management required in the process of converting centrally managed services to personal services.

 

The Exit Plan (Investment Income Strategy) is currently aiming to become a global asset manager, but in short, it is also considering a merger with existing financial companies. As technology is the most important part, we are planning to expand the company and proceed with IPO by providing B2B solutions.
